About

About Timothy Folley

I was born in New Hampshire, raised in Massachusetts, and met my wife in Vermont. Today, we are raising our three boys in Maine. I earned my Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Southern Maine in 2014 and obtained my BCBA certification in 2015.

Much of my early career focused on supporting children diagnosed with Autism who often presented with characteristics more closely aligned with trauma and attachment disorders. My personal and professional experiences have strengthened my understanding of the interaction between emotional processes and observable behavior within a behavior-analytic framework.

In 2019, I transitioned to working with individuals in the brain injury community, where I discovered further connections between trauma, attachment, and rehabilitation. These insights continue to shape my professional lens and fuel my passion for advancing practice.

I am committed to sharing my experiences and perspectives with fellow behavior analysts to help broaden understanding and enrich approaches to care through a trauma-focused, behavior-analytic framework.
